Abstract
Aims: Bacterial agents in the air can act as a model for biological agent .This study used for studing the photo catalytic process of Zinc Oxide nanoparticels for removal of air contaminated with pseudomonas aerognisa
Methods: In this study ZnO nanoparticles of 20-40 nm 5% immobilized on iranian natural zeolite (INZ). For photo catalytic process Ultraviolet A with power 8 ,16 and 24 W were used. pseudomonas aerognisa.strain (ATCC:27853) was applied in the research. The bacterial aerosol with concentrations of 107 colony forming units (CFU) per mL air flow were prepared by a nebulizer and injected to the system.
Results: The result of this research shows that the Residual bacteria in the effluent air flow digress with increases power of Ultraviolet. The brick trough for 24 , 16 and 8 w/cm2 achieve 170 ,120 and 30 min respectively
Conclusion:. ZnO nano particles immobilized on iranian natural zeolite photocatalytic process with high removal Air contaminated with biological agent that can cause them to maximize the efficiency of filtration and purification. |
